  • Progress Update - 18th April 2010

I am going to take a step back and take a little break to rethink the plan. Although I am grinding out a small profit, at this rate it will take forever to hit the jackpot.

Therefore, I am looking into ways to changing the strategy a little to achieve the long term goal.

    Back soon!

  • 10 men Grays grab last minute equaliser

    York City  1 - 1 Grays Athletic
    Brodie 51'        Reynolds 90'

Duran Reynolds grabbed a late equaliser for 10-man Grays to snatch a draw at promotion-chasing York. The home side took the lead when top scorer Richard Brodie fired into the top left-hand corner from 12 yards. Grays keeper Glyn Garner was sent off for using abusive language towards the referee after fouling Brodie, but the striker missed the resulting penalty. And the visitors grabbed a point when Reynolds met Michael Ingham's punched clearance with a first-time volley.

England Blue Square Conference: York to beat Grays
    Price: 1.35 Betfair
Kick Off: 3.00pm Saturday 17th April

Fourth place York play 23rd place Grays as they look to keep up their impressive home form. York have won their last 3 home games scoring 10 goals and only letting in 1. Apart from a good win at Wimbledon last time out, Grays form has not been good, they have been leaking goals without scoring many and I think York should have the beating of them today.

  • Bad result for Altach in the title race

SCR Altach   1 - 2  FK Austria Wien II
    Sulimani (og) 28'     Djokic 15'
                                 Freitag 22'

Altach's title hopes took a hit as they were beaten 2-1 at home by Austria Wien II. The home side started badly and were 2 goals down after 22 mins through strikes from Djokic and Freitag. An own goal from Sulimani gave hope of an Altach comeback, but it was not to be as the away team held on for an important win.

Barcelona secured another home win as they moved to 6 points clear for at least 1 day of Madrid. The Catalans dominated possession with 75% and had 20 shots to their opponents 5 but it took a wonder strike from Pedro to put the game almost safe after Bojan's early goal.
