MSV Duisburg and Rot-Weiss Oberhausen played out an entertaining draw in difficult conditions at the MSV Arena. Persistent rain cut the ground and both sides were to be commended for their attacking play to win the match. With four goals in the first 31 minutes perhaps the biggest surprise was that there were no more goals later in the match. A share of the spoils was probably a fair result on the night.
